Coming full circle with miso: women’s Resource Group talk

I am passionate about maintaining relationships no matter where I go in work or life, and I’m so excited to have been asked to speak to the MISO Women’s Resource Group – MISO’s first ERG, which I helped initiate – as a follow up to their discussions on the book How Women Rise by Sally Helgesen and Marshall Goldsmith. WRG members identified one specific habit of the twelve discussed in the book as a ‘common habit women’ at MISO and beyond have difficulty breaking barriers to get to the next opportunity at work: Reluctance to Claim Your Achievements.

You all know I’ve recently received an incredible promotion at Microsoft, and I humbly appreciate the opportunity to share my achievements/learnings with the people who know and care about me, and to share my story. I’m proud of the path that brought me to where I am today, and I am honored to spend some time with my people at MISO today!
